Mayabel Movement International (MMI) Cameroon is a registered not-for-profit organization in Cameroon, established in 2018. The organization operates in Cameroon and across some of the most poverty-affected communities in Central Africa. MMI Cameroon exists to promote equitable access to education, health awareness, and social justice, with a strong focus on empowering girls, young people, and women.

MMI Cameroon Advancing Education, Empowerment, and Social Justice Across Communities
MMI Cameroon prioritizes STEAM education for adolescent girls aged 8–15, while actively supporting vulnerable populations, including children, youth, young adults, and individuals affected by Cancer and HIV/AIDS. Through education, skills development, and advocacy, the organization works to strengthen individual capacity and community resilience.
The organization delivers structured programs in education, arts and culture, health education, life skills development, mentorship, and peer engagement. These programs are designed to build self-esteem, self-worth, and leadership capacity, enabling girls, youth, and women to make informed decisions and actively contribute to their communities.
MMI Cameroon is guided by a Vision 2030 that seeks to address the persistent vulnerabilities facing children, young people, and women—particularly the girl child—by advancing education, health education, community development, and agricultural development as pathways to sustainable livelihoods.
MMI Cameroon’s mitigation and recovery strategy is community-centred and inclusive. It addresses the social injustices that negatively affect livelihoods, mental health, food security, and access to education. The organization works collaboratively with community leaders, local NGOs, district authorities, national institutions, and international partners to expand empowerment opportunities and ensure long-term impact.
In addition, MMI Cameroon is committed to fostering a safe and inclusive global platform that amplifies the voices of youth, young adults, women, and girls, promoting civic engagement, free expression, and collective action in the fight against social injustice.
